The Dodgers had a bad day, and Dave Roberts wanted to preserve the bullpen. Justin Wrobleski allowed eight runs in the second but stayed in the game until the sixth. The Los Angeles Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 12-to-3.
