On his bobblehead night and 31st birthday, Will Smith gave the crowd a thrill at Dodger Stadium. The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 3-2 victory.

Tyler Glasnow was the most consistent Dodger starter during spring training. Despite allowing two runs, he pitched six innings, throwing 90 pitches. He struck out six and walked one. He made a fantastic defensive play to escape the first inning, allowing only one run. If he can stay on the field, he will play a significant role on the Dodgers.

Eduardo Rodriguez kept the Dodgers quiet for five innings. After two years in Arizona, where he struggled, he looks different this season. He allowed one run thanks to an error on the Diamondbacks’ infield and Freddie Freeman’s double. Miguel Rojas and Freeman had two hits apiece.

Alex Vesia, Will Klein, and Edwin Díaz pitched brilliantly in relief.

Going into the eighth, the Dodgers appeared to be heading for their first loss of the 2026 season. They couldn’t do anything against the Diamondbacks’ pitching. With two outs, Mookie Betts walked. Smith delivered again. “Mr. Clutch” blasted a two-run homer.

The Dodgers showed why everyone is favoring them to return to the World Series.
