Tyler Glasnow was placed on the IL after experiencing back spasms. On Wednesday, he came out of his start after one inning against the Houston Astros. Although the MRI didn’t reveal anything structural, the Dodgers wanted to give Glasnow time to recover from the back spasm. During his career, he has experienced back spasms.
In five starts, Glasnow has three wins and no losses with a 2.72 ERA.
Blake Snell will join the Dodgers’ starting rotation on Saturday. He has been dealing with left shoulder fatigue. He hasn’t pitched in the major leagues this year, but he has had four rehabilitation assignment outings. He has been sharp, and his velocity has been better than at any point last season.
On Friday, Mookie Betts starts his rehabilitation assignment in Oklahoma City. On April 3rd, he suffered an oblique injury. If everything goes well, Betts will be activated on Monday before the Dodgers play the San Francisco Giants.
