Justin Wrobleski pitched the game of his life.

On a chilly Monday night at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers shut out the New York Mets, 4–0.

Wrobleski threw ninety pitches in eight innings. He relied on his fastball and slider. He didn’t need swing-and-miss. His command was sharp. He struck out two and walked none. He relied on excellent defense, particularly from Miguel Rojas and Max Muncy behind him. At one point, he retired thirteen straight. On any other pitching staff, he would be the third starter on the rotation, but on the Dodgers, he is the sixth starter.

To open the game, David Peterson hit Shohei Ohtani and walked Kyle Tucker. Will Smith singled home Ohtani.

In the third inning, Andy Pages continued his hot hitting with a three-run bomb.

Rojas had three hits, and Freddie Freeman had two.

Tanner Scott faced the minimum in the ninth.

The Dodgers will look to continue their winning ways on Tuesday.
