Tuesday, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced they extended Dave Roberts until after the 2028 season. Since 2016, Roberts has managed the Dodgers to eight division titles, four pennants, and two world championships. He is destined to be a Hall of Fame manager.

Many Dodger fans on social media have criticized Roberts for everything, but Roberts has the highest winning percentage among active managers. His undying optimism encourages his players even when things look bleak for the Dodgers. Nearly all players love playing for Roberts.

Nowadays, baseball managers must relate to the media. Roberts does it well. When the Dodger front office made a mistake, Roberts has taken the fall. He doesn’t panic when he loses his starting rotation.

Now, Roberts is the highest paid manager in the major leagues. He deserves it. Nowadays on social media, the fans don’t think before they post. These fans are quick to criticize and never praise. They are attention getters, so they make outlandish comments without having all the information.
