On a hot night even in Chase Field, the Los Angeles Dodgers made history when Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman blasted three consecutive home runs, for the first time in franchise history. The Dodgers kept scoring. While Gavin Stone allowed four runs in the first, he pitched well for five innings. Brent Honeywell, Ben Casparius, and Evan Phillips saved the rest of the bullpen. Tommy Edman had his first important hit as a Dodger. The Dodgers swatted the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-to-6. The Dodgers lead both the San Diego Padres and the Arizona Diamondbacks by six games in the National League Western Division.
